Dried Out and Ready to Epoxy

With the grinding, sanding, checking water content and sucking it's time to get some epoxy back on the port side as well as cut 4 inches off the old steel centerboard and glass it all in, the goal is to keep the water on the outside.......

10 layers of 17 oz. Bi-axial cloth will go over the closed slot where the centerboard is located.  The slot is filled with an epoxy/cloth log that we made to give the extra thickness to fill the void and add strengh to the bottom.

The Porta Power comes in handy when you want to give a little extra push up in the centerboard slot, not coming back out.......!!!
